“GIAD” Residential City represents the junction of rural life style and the modern one. It consists of 1200 houses separated into two colonies. “GIAD” is located in the Gazera state, a 40-Km distance from Khartoum. Two Kilometers only separates GIAD from the Blue Nile. Water & Energy Services:

Bourouj company (one of GIAD companies) established a 40 Q/M /H water station to serve the industrial zone as well as the residential city.
An electricity sub-station with a 120-mega watt energized since June 1999, beside this sub-station Mishkat Co. (one of GIAD Companies) starts to implement a 60- mega watt generating station.
